Patrick built "Mary, Star of the Sea" Catholic Church, on an acre of land in 1893, which he had deeded to the church.
It is believed the structure was built by P.J. Lindberg.
It was small, and used by missionary priests as they passed through the isolated area.
Photos of the church in various stages of dis-repair. It is uncertain as to when the church was finally torn down, but it is believed to have disappeard in the late 1950's or early 1960's.
