Patrick Hughes

Patrick Hughes was born April 15, 1830 and died June 28, 1901. Patrick's wife Jane and son Joseph were also buried in the cemetery at one time. Records at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Portland, Oregon record their re-burial on August 23, 1938.

William O'Sullivan

William O'Sullivan was born in County Cork, Ireland and died on the Cape May 7, 1900 at age 86. O'Sullivan owned a ranch and a gold mine adjacent to the Hughes Ranch. The Hughes Family eventually acquired both.

Denis McCarthy

Denis McCarthy also of County Cork, Ireland, died April 16, 1898 at age 79. It is unclear what his association with the Hughes Family was, but he must have been close with the family, as he is Godfather to Mary Hughes.

Michael Duffy

Michael Duffy born in County Monaghan, Ireland in 1917 and died on the Cape January 30, 1903. Duffy also owned land, which was purchased by the Hughes Family. Duffy lived with the family after losing his sight.

Frank McMullen

Frank McMullen Beloved Husband of Catherine McMullen, Born County Tyrone, Ireland April 2, 1840, Died in Port Orford, November 1, 1905. Married to Catherine (below), they had five children together, three did not survive childhood, the youngest two married Hughes siblings.

Catherine McMullen

Catherine (nee Carroll) McMullen born June 20, 1837, died December 27, 1915. Both Frank & Catherine were reburied in Connecticut.
